Durham vs Gloucestershire, Chester-le-street
A low scoring affair at the Chester-le-Street saw the home side crashing to a six-wicket loss. The loss means Durham are still the wooden spooners and this was their fourth successive loss.
Gloucestershire on their part picked up their first win after being asked to track down 117 in the last innings of the game. The openers of Gloucestershire — Chris Dent and Miles Hammond — put up the highest partnership of the match worth 60 runs to ensure there were no major hiccups for the visiting team. On the final day only 53 was needed and it was done with ease.
Day 1 and Day 2 had seen 15 wickets and 16 wickets going down respectively but the Gloucestershire unit ensured that day 3 didn’t have much for the bowlers as the target was chased down before lunch.
